Huyam - The love elixir / valentine special batch attar

If you had access to the rarest materials in the world, the experience of six generations of perfumists behind you, and enough time to make the most potent love elixir would you do it?

We did. Introducing the Valentine oil, the love elixir, and the blend that many have been asking if it’s possible to make, yes, and here it is.

Huyam is the name of this oil, a word for the deepest most passionate love. It was also a name for Hurrem Sultan, the beloved wife of Ottoman sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Suleiman once wrote of her, “Throne of my lonely niche, my wealth, my love, my moonlight. My most sincere friend, my confidant, my very existence, my one and only love. The most beautiful among the springtime, my merry-faced love. My daytime, my sweetheart, laughing leaf. My rose, the one who does not distress me in this world. My Istanbul, my Caraman, the earth of my Anatolia. My Badakhshan, my Baghdad, and Khorasan. My woman of beautiful hair, my love of slanted brow, my love of eyes full of mischief. I’ll sing your praises always. I, lover of the tormented heart, of the eyes full of tears, I am happy.”

Passion, devotion, and obsession like this are the inspiration for this oil. We used ancient world love oils and materials combined then layered on multiple levels giving this oil a level of sophistication and three-dimensional projection that cannot be described in words. It needs to be smelled and worn on the skin to truly understand the depth and power of this oil.

The first layer is a base of pure Mysore sandalwood oil and a mix of tuberose, Rosa Damascena, and Jasmin which are each considered the most romantic natural scents. Our master Perfumist macerated the first layer with his family inherited musk, the most mature musk in our collection, Vietnamese Tonkin musk. After several months the musk developed in the mixture allowing each note to independently shine through. This base was then blended with pure royal white ambergris oil making it very animalistic and wild but very aromatic, with no pungent notes. To top of this potent love potion, we layered through hints of vanilla, oud, birch, ylang-ylang, blue lotus, gardenia, tulip, sweet orange, and orris.

After over 6 months of preparation, 6 months of maceration, and the last step layering through final notes, our ultimate love blend is complete and ready for the world to experience its beauty. The oil is created to be perfectly worn by both men and women, in all seasons and for all occasions. The oil will transform on contact with the skin and its pure nature will make it evolve with the person throughout the day. The notes found in this oil are rarely if ever combined together in their true most potent hypnotic forms. Perfumes available on the market that may contain similar notes are synthetic in base, which does not make for a living transforming oil, such as the one we are offering you. This blend is the pinnacle of natural perfumery yet beyond perfumery, chemistry, or botany. It is art living, transforming art and it needs a nose, a heart, and a mind to truly appreciate it.
