What makes it unique
Description
The 700-Year-Old Banyan Giant
Bali, Indonesia
The Immortal was inspired by a magnificent Banyan Tree estimated to be more than seven centuries old.
Standing beneath it feels almost unreal.
Its roots stretch outward in every direction.
Its branches seem to occupy an entire landscape.
The tree resembles something from science fiction rather than nature.
During the journey that inspired this collection, I became seriously ill from mercury poisoning and was rushed to a hospital after riding a bicycle across an island with no cars. Doctors later informed me that arriving only a few hours later could have produced a very different outcome.
Shortly after recovering, I found myself standing beneath this giant Banyan.
The experience changed my perspective completely.
Compared to a tree that had survived seven centuries, my own difficulties suddenly seemed very small.
The Immortal
Endurance. Water
The Immortal is a testament to persistence.
Not merely in the materials themselves, but in the pursuit of what many believed could not be accomplished through natural perfumery alone.
At first encounter, a surprisingly smooth and aromatic character emerges, concealing the extraordinary complexity beneath. Real raw ambergris forms the foundation of the composition, intertwined with triple-distilled vanilla in a manner that challenges conventional perfumery wisdom. For generations, many perfumers avoided combining certain natural materials, believing their personalities too dominant to coexist in harmony. Ambergris, oud and musk in its raw and natural form are almost impossible to mix and be distinguishable together. Emphasize on almost
Yet The Immortal was created to challenge those assumptions.
As the fragrance develops, layers begin to reveal themselves one after another. Mineral ambergris slowly unfolds into rich resin nuances, giving way to a heart where precious musk creates depth, warmth, and remarkable texture. Rather than competing for attention, each material supports the next, forming a seamless transition across the life of the fragrance.
At its foundation rests rare Cambodian Koh Kong oud, surrounded by Baltic amber, precious resins, golden honey, and a distinguished caramel accord. The result is both powerful and elegant, rich yet balanced, complex yet remarkably smooth.
What makes The Immortal extraordinary is not any single ingredient, but the way each layer reveals another hidden beneath it. The fragrance continues to evolve hour after hour, inviting repeated discovery as new dimensions emerge across the skin. It’s a story that keeps unfolding.
Ocean and forest. Sweetness and depth. Warmth and mystery. A composition built upon patience, craftsmanship, and the refusal to accept limitations.
For what was once considered impossible in natural perfumery is revealed here as entirely possible.

Five Guardians • Five Virtues • Five Elements
For more than two years, The Tree of Life project carried Mr Ali Attar across Asia in search of extraordinary living monuments.
Not simply trees.
Guardians of time. Witnesses to history. Keepers of memory.
Each had survived centuries of storms, conflict, human change, and the relentless passage of time. Yet each remained standing—alive, powerful, and carrying within it a virtue humanity has honored for thousands of years.
What began as a search for remarkable trees became something far greater.
Looking back, it became clear that these ancient guardians were not merely subjects of inspiration. They were teachers. Each revealed a different lesson, a distinct philosophy, and another way of moving through life—with wisdom, courage, protection, endurance, and memory.
The collection was inspired by five extraordinary trees encountered during this journey:
• A 100-year-old Bonsai Dragon in Tokyo, Japan.
• A 400-year-old Camphor Tree in Osaka, Japan.
• A rare 200-year-old Aquilaria treasure in Cambodia.
• A 700-year-old Banyan giant in Bali.
• A 500-year-old scented Millennium Tree on Gili Island.
Five guardians. Five virtues. Five elements.
Together, they became The Tree of Life Collection—a collection created not simply to capture the scent of these places, but to preserve their spirit, their symbolism, and the timeless lessons they continue to carry.
This extraordinary oil is one chapter within that journey. To fully understand the meaning behind its creation, the ancient guardian that inspired it, and the path that brought it into existence, we invite you to discover the complete story here.
