Brunei King oud oil 1995 distillation last batch

Brunei oud oil is unlike anything else you have smelled before. This is one of the rarest, most exclusive, and hard-to-distill oud oils, distilled in 1995.

We have previously listed one single batch of this oil, another distillation in 1990, with a very similar profile and body and that batch was sold out in one week. Almost every person who has tried it fell in love and asked for more. So, we decided to list this last batch of less than 300 ML which is the last batch we have from this kind of oil which is a pure wild distillation from the sultanate of Brunei.

This is not only exclusive to the house of The Perfumist, but it's fully extinct, and the total amount available of this oil is the last batch we have of 300ML only, and that's what you see here in the picture. This oil is a perfect example of matured and aged to perfection, wild and powerful yet very attractive and non-intrusive. Perfect oud oil for both men and women, for all seasons, both day and night, will naturally evolve and change based on the skin type, the weather, and the time. Do not miss this one!

The first nose

This will open similar to the Indian Assam or the old Laos oud oil with distinct wildness and little pungent animalistic vibe, but it is settled and non-intrusive. It's normal to have that for any oil over 10 or 20 years, so don't let this surprise you. After few minutes, this oil will open and evolve beautifully and the sweet, fruity, and woody with distinguished cherry and dates-like notes.

The second nose

after 10 minutes or so, the oil will be very down to the skin with medium projection and silage making this oil perfect for someone who wants to enjoy their out oil without killing everyone's else cologne and perfume in the room. This is also for personal and intimate meetings as the person near you will clearly and intensely smell this delicious oud, but the people around the room will not recognize it or smell it, so it's on the calm side and not something that will cause other to sneeze or say this is too strong or too spicy still the vibration of this oud is so powerful and intimate you will feel a warmth and depth coming out of it through our the time of wearing it and until the very last moment.

The final nose

This oil will last, and I mean it will last for long hours, not in an overpowering or intrusive way but in a very composed and elegant manner. This is one of the actual properties of royal oils. It is for the wearer to enjoy and experience rather than just for others to smell and say this smells nice. This oil is for those who know what they like and why they like it and those who share this magical aura of scent with the ones they care about or want to get intimately near. Very limited – Extremely Rare – Extremely hard to find. These are oils that it's simply a matter of time, and by that, we mean a few years before it goes to the previous category (extinct).  Limited – Rare – Hard to find. This is the lowest of the categories we have but it's still considered by many as a pinnacle to express class, luxury, and taste in its most aromatic form. These are very limited oils, very hard to make and very few have access to them. Those oils are not extinct, and we hope they won't be anytime soon, but they are rare because of the raw material they are extracted from, the process, and the quality in the making and distillation. Again, these are all 100% natural oils, very concentrated and potent, and they will dominate the comparison with any alcohol-based perfume or cologne in every single aspect, every single time. By maximum measurement, only 0.01 percent of the population will have the privilege of experiencing the power of this olfactory.
